What is Baptism?

Believer's Baptism is an important step of obedience for Christians to publicly declare that they have put their faith and trust in Jesus for salvation. It is an outward expression of an inward change. Being baptized shows others that you've decided to follow Jesus and allows them to celebrate that decision with you.

Baptism doesn't save a person; it is a symbol and celebration of salvation. We were once dead in our sin, but have now experienced the resurrection power of Jesus.

Welcome to the GPKids Baptism videos! Here at Grace Point, we believe that getting baptized is one of the ways we walk in obedience with God. We are so excited that you have decided to take steps towards being baptized! These videos are to teach you everything you need to know about Baptism and hopefully answer all of your questions in the process. After you watch the video, continue working through the book. Keep in mind that some of the "fill in the blanks" are answered in the videos. Take your time, have fun and pray though what God is teaching you in the process!
